Gelişmekte olan ülkelerde DYY-GSYİH ilişkisi: Panel birim kök ve eş bütünleşme sınamaları

Bu çalışmada, gelişmekte olan ülkeler arasından seçilmiş 19 ülke ve bu ülkelerin 1980-2005 dönemine ait doğrudan yabancı sermaye yatırımları ve gayrisafi yurtiçi hâsıla verilerinin uzun dönem ilişkisi incelenmiştir. Panel birim kök testlerinin yapıldığı çalışmada, ülkelerin doğrudan yabancı yatırım akımlarının ve gayrisafi yurtiçi hâsılalarının birim köke sahip olmadığı yani durağan olduğu görülmüştür. Panel koentegrasyon testleri sonucunda ise azgelişmiş ülkelerde doğrudan yabancı sermaye ve gayri safi hâsıla arasında uzun dönemde birlikte ilişki olduğu saptanmıştır.

FDI-GDP relationship in developing countries: Panel unit root and co-integration tests

This article examines whether the foreign direct investments contribute positively to the development of the economies of those 19 countries chosen among developing ones over the period of 1980-2005, considering their gross domestic products and a statistical analysis of the relationships between the incoming foreign direct investment and their economic growth. In this study where panel data analysis and unit root tests are applied, it is fixed that FDI flows where they take place affect on the GDPs of the countries.
