Bu makale, Heidegger'in siyasi düşünce açısından önemine odaklanmaktadır. Hidegger bir siyaset filozofu olmasa da düşüncelerinin siyaset felsefesi açısından çok önemli sonuçları vardır. Birincisi, Heidegger'in Batı düşüncesi hakkındaki değerlendirmeleri, modern siyasal yaşamın ve felsefi düşünce sistemlerinin sorunlarını anlamaya yardımcı olabilir. Öte yandan, Heidegger'in Varlık, hakikat ve insan anlayışı, Heidegger'in iyi bir siyasi topluluk hakkında ne düşündüğünü anlamak için bazı ipuçları sunar. Heidegger'e göre modern siyasal toplum, bir kitle toplumudur. Bu toplum totaliter bir düzen içerir. Modern politik toplumun aksine, Heidegger'in iyi bir politik topluluk taahhüdü, farklı yaşam tarzlarının birlikte yaşamasına izin veren böyle bir sosyal yaşamdan söz eder.

This article focuses Heidegger's importance from the point of political thought. Although Hidegger is not a political philosopher, his thoughts have very important consequences in terms of political philosophy. Firstly, Heidegger's evaluations about Western thought can help to understand the problems of modern political life and philosophical thought systems. On the other hand, Heidegger's conception of Being, truth and human being presents some clues to understand what Heidegger thinks about a good political community. According to Heidegger modern political society is a mass society. This society includes a totalitarian order. Contrary to the modern political society, Heidegger's undertanding of a good political community refers to such a from of social life which allows different styles of life to live together.
