Bu yazıda asıl amacım fenomen kavramının gelişimini genel bir bakış açısıyla aydınlatmaktır. Bu amaçla, formlar ve duyusal dünya arasındaki Platoncu sınırdan söz ettim. Platoncu düalizm ile Descartes düalizmi arasında bir benzerlik olduğunu göstermeye çalıştım eğer Platon'u Descartes'ı izleyerek okursam. Ancak, iki tür varlık arasında böyle bir ayrımın, filozofların tarihinde pek çok filozofu meşgul ettiğini biliyoruz. Olgu anlayışının felsefeye sunulmasının Platon tarafından sağlandığı kabul edilerek, gerçek terim anlamı Kant döneminde kazanılmıştır. Brantano ve Husserl, çağdaş felsefede de bu kavramla bir dereceye kadar ilgilenmişlerdir.

In this article my main aim is to illuminate the development of conception of phenomenon in a general perspectivethe. For this aim I referred to the Platonian demarcation between forms and sensory world. I tried to show vthat there is a similarity between Platonian dualism and Descartes dualism if me read Plato following Descartes. But we know that such a discinction between two kind of entities has kept busy a lot of philosophers in history of philosphers. Accepted that the submission of conception of phenomenon to philosophy has achieved by Plato, the real term meaning has been gained during the period of Kant. Also in the contemprary philosophy Brantano and Husserl has dealt with this conception to a certain extent.
