Historical Development of the Concept of Nature

In this article, the concept of nature is surveyed in its historical context. The concept of nature in Ancient Greek, Middle Ages, Renaissance and Modern Age is compared and its transformation into the Contemporary times is elaborated. It is argued how the meaning of the concept of the nature has turned into a cultural conceptin.
