Leptospirozisin Klinik Mikrobiyolojik Tanısı ve Son Gelişmeler

Leptospirozis, evcil ve vahşi hayvanlar ile insanlarda Leptospira interrogans serovadarının neden olduğu, dünya çapında yaygınlık gösteren zoonoz bir enfeksiyonduı: Hastalık abort, yaşama gücü zayıf buzağı doğumu, süt v eriminde düşme ve infertilite nedeniyle önemli ekonomik kayıplara neden olmaktadıı: Leptospirozis, geniş spektrumlu semptomları ve klinik bulguları nedeniyle birçok bakteriyel, viral ve paraziter hastalıklada benzerlik göstermekte, bu nedenle de klinik mikrobiyolojik tanı enfeksiyonun kesin teşhisinde tek çıkar yol olmaktadı ı: Bu derleme de, kültür, direkt mikroskopik muayene, moleküleı- ve serolojik metotlar gibi klinik mikrobiyolojik tanı metotları son gelişmeler ile birlikte sunulmuştur.

Clinical Microbiological Diagnosis of Leptospirosis and the Last Improvements

Leptospirosis is a world-wide zoonotic infection that ajfects domestic and wild anima/s and humans caused by serovaı·s of Leptospira interı-ogans. Disease couses ekonomic loses due to abortion, stillbirth, biı-th of premature and weak infected calves, infertility, mastitis, reduced milk production and death causing important financial losses in cattle bre ed ing. Due to these broad spectrum of symptoms and elinical sin gs, the disease resembles to other bacterial, viral, and parasitic diseases so that elinical micı-obiological diagnosis is comideı-ed to be sol e way for exact diagnosis. In this review artiele, elinical microbiological diagnostic methods ineluding culture, direct microscopic examination, moleculaı· and serological methods aı·e presented with the last improvements.
