ÖRGÜTLERDE İŞE GÖMÜLMÜŞLÜĞÜN (JOB EMBEDEDNESS) ÇALIŞANLARIN İŞ VE YAŞAM KALİTESİ ÜZERİNDEKİ ETKİSİ

Bu çalışmada örgütlerde çalışanların işe gömülmüş olmalarının onların iş yaşam kalitesi algılamaları ve yaşam kalitesi algılamaları üzerindeki etkileri, bu etkide iyimserliğin aracılık rolü ele alınmıştır. Kayseri'de kolayda örnekleme yöntemiyle belirlenmiş çeşitli sektörlerde çalışan 292 çalışan üzerinde yapılan araştırma sonuçlarına göre işe gömülmüş olmanın iş yaşam kalitesi ve yaşam kalitesi ile anlamlı pozitif ilişkiye sahip olduğu, iyimserliğin de benzer şekilde tüm araştırma değişkenleri ile pozitif yönlü ilişkileri sahip olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Yani işe gömülmüş olan bireylerin hem yaşam kalitesi hem de iş yaşam kalitesi artmaktadır. İyimserliğin aracılık rolüne ilişkin analiz sonuçlarına göre ise, iyimserliğin işe gömülmüş olmanın yaşam kalitesi ve iş yaşam kalitesi üzerindeki etkisinde anlamlı kısmi aracılık etkisine sahip olduğu belirlenmiştir. Araştırmada işe gömülmüş olmanın iş yaşam kalitesi üzerindeki etkisinin yaşam kalitesine oranla daha yüksek olduğu da ortaya çıkarılmıştır

THE EFFECT OF JOB EMBEDEDNESS ON EMPLOYEES QUALITY OF WORK LIFE AND QUALITY OF LIFE: THE ROLE OF OPTIMISM

The effects of job embeddedness on perception of work-life quality and life quality, the mediating role of optimism on this effect for employees who work in organizations was discussed in this paper. 292 employees who work in different sector in Kayseri was determined by convenience sampling method and according to research results; job embeddedness has statistically significant positive relation with perception of worklife quality and life quality, likewise optimism has positive relation with all other research variables. In other words job embeddedness improve the life quality and work-life quality of individuals. Through the analysis of the mediating role of optimism, it has a significant mediating effect in relationship between job embededness, worklife quality and life quality. In the research it was determined that the effect of job embeddedness on worklife quality is higher than life quality
