With rapidly growing industrialization, extensive use of hazardous substances and the transport of these substances from one location to another are increasing rapidly. Hazardous substances are transported in various ways, including particularly the highway. The major risks come out during the transportation of hazardous substances by road, such as loss of life and property and environmental disasters. Conditions of transportation of hazardous substances linked to an order by a variety of conventions and international agreements to reduce risks to the lowest level that occurs during transportation. Also standards are available for arranging requirements of design, production, labeling and tests. In this study, safety precautions, which required to reduce and/or remove potential risks in transportation of hazardous materials, were addressed by considering the case of cylinder bundles and evaluated also by giving place to literature survey.
