Designing a Creative History Course: A Model

Bu çalışmada, "tarih" ve "tarih bilinci" kavramlarına ilişkin güncel tartışmalar ışığında, tarih öğretiminin durumu irdelenmekte, mevcut sorunların aşılmasına katkı sağlamak üzere yeni bir larih dersi tasarımı sunulmaktadır. Dersin tasarımı, çağdaş ders tasarım kuram ve modelleri ile iletişim içinde, adım adım örneklenmekte ve incelenmektedir. Uygulama sonrası bulguları kapsamayan bu çalışma, "Yaratıcı Tarih Dersi" adıyla geliştirilen dersin deneneceği sonraki çalışmalara bir başlangıç niteliğindedir.

Yaratıcı Tarih Dersi İçin Bir Model Önerisi

in this study history teaching is revisited together with current debates concerning the conception of "history" and "historical consciousness", and a new course design is proposed in order to overcome existing problems. The new design is elaborated and explicated step-by-step in accordance with contemporary instructional design theories. Any discussion that would possibly follow from implementation of the study is not vithin the scope of the preseni paper as it is rather intended to be introduclory for laler studies in which the new course is to be implemented and analyzed.
