Yaşlı (kişiler) ile etkili iletişim

İletişim günlük yaşamın bir parçasıdır. Kişilerin yaş alması ile birlikte duyma, görme vb. duyularında meydana gelen bozulma/azalma iletişimin etkinliği üzerinde olumsuz etkiler yaratabilmektedir. Kişinin kronolojik olarak yaş alması/yaşlanması ile birlikte fiziksel, psikolojik ve sosyal değişimler yaşaması söz konusu olur. Her bir değişim kişinin diğerleri ile iletişim kurmasını ve diğer kişileri algılamasını etkilemektedir. Bu nedenle günlük yaşamın bir parçası olan iletişim, hem yaşlı kişi hem de yaşlı kişi ile iletişim kuran/ bakım veren kişiler için adeta bir sorun haline gelebilmektedir. Bu çalışmada "yaşlı" olarak tanımlanan kişi ile kurulan iletişimin özellikleri ele alınmakta, bununla birlikte yaşlı kişi ile iletişim kurarken dikkat edilmesi gereken noktalar açıklanarak iletişimin etkin bir şekilde kurulması için öneriler getirilmektedir

Effective communication with elderly (people)

Communication is a part of everyday life. When people are getting older, there can be seen sensational distortions just like about hearing, sighting, etc. Accordingly, these distortions can cause some negative impacts on the effectiveness of communication. It can be mentioned that, depending on the chronological getting/growing older of anybody, there can appear pysical, psychological and social changings. Every part of these changings not only can affect the communication of people between others, but also it affect the perception of person among other people. Therefore, as a part of daily life, communication can become a kind of problem for elderly people and people who are connected with them or who take care of them. In this study, it is mentioned that the specifications of communication with the people who are defined as "elderly". In addition to this, it is clarified that the required points for considering when people communicate with elderly people and there are some suggestions for effective communication with elderly people
