Sezaryen skarında endometriyozis: Olgu sunumu ve literatür taraması
Endometriyozis fonksiyonel endometrial dokunun endometrial kavite dışında yer aldığı, pelvik ağrı ve infertilitenin eşlik edebildiği benign bir hastalıktır. En sık pelviste izlenir. Ekstra pelvik endometriyozis daha nadir olarak izlenir. Olgu sunumumuzda iki sezaryen sonrasında insizyon skarında 3 yıldır devam eden siklik ağrı ile başvuran hastanın cerrahi değerlendirmesi incelendi. Olguda fasiyadan ekstirpe edilen materyalin patolojik incelemesinde endometriyozis rapor edildi. Günümüzde artan sezaryan oranlarına eşlik eden bu şekilde çeşitli endometriyozis olguları günlük pratiğimizde daha fazla yer alacak olup bulguların akılda tutulması tanıdaki gecikmeleri engelleyecektir.
Endometriosis at cesarean scar: Case report and review of the literature
Endometriosis is a benign disease whereby functional endometrial tissue is located away from the endometrial cavity and may be accompanied by pelvic pain and infertility. It is generally observed in pelvic vissera. Extrapelvic involvement of endometriosis is unusual. In our case, we reviewed the surgical approach of a patient who had been admitted to the gynecology unit with cyclic pain at the site of a cesarean scar for 3 years. Pathological examination after excision was reported as endometriosis. Nowadays, through the increasing number of cesarean operations we will all encounter these kind of endometriosis cases more and more in our daily practice. As a result, this clinic symptomatology should be kept in mind in order to avoid delay in diagnosis.
