Dermatofibrosarkoma protuberanslı olgulardaki klinik deneylerimiz

Dermatofibrosarkoma protuberans (DFSP) lokal agresif, oldukça nadir fibrohistiositik bir tümördür. Oldukça yavaş büyüme göstererek deri altı dokusu ve çevre dokulara infiltrasyon gösterir. Sıklıkla lokal nüksle birliktedir ancak nadiren metastaz yapar. Bu çalışmada dermatofibrosarkoma protuberans tanısı alan toplam 7 olgudaki klinik deneyimlerimizi sunduk. Olguların yaş ortalaması 52 yıl ve erkek/kadın oranı 3/4 idi. Olguların 4’ünde alt ekstremite, 2’sinde gövde ve 1 olguda skalp yerleşimli tümör saptandı. Tüm hastalara cerrahi sınır 3 cm ve tabanda fasya dahil olacak şekilde geniş eksizyon uygulandı. Hastaların ortalama 15,4 aylık takip süreleri içinde nüks ile karşılaşılmadı.

Clinical experiences of the patients with dermatofibrosarcoma protuberans

Dermatofibrosarcoma protuberans (DFSP) is a relatively uncommon fibrohistiocytic tumor that is locally aggressive. The tumor enlarges slowly, infiltrating the subcutaneous tissue and the neighbouring tissues. DFSP is associated with frequent local recurrences, but rarely metastasizes. We presented clinical experience of seven cases with DFSP. Mean age of patients was 52 years and the rate of male/female is 3/4 . Localisation of the tumor was lower extremity in 4 patients, body in 2 patients and scalp in 1 patient. All patients underwent wide excision with 3 cm surgical margins and including neighbouring fascia. Mean follow up period was 15,4 months and no recurrence was detected in this follow up period.
