Turkey’s Competition Act of 1994 is almost a mirror copy of the European Union’s competition rules, except its wording. The wording of the Act is too complex to understand. The 1994 Act which deals with three different types of market practices: restrictive trading agreements between undertakings, abuse of dominant position and mergers and acquisitions. The EU’s cas-law is expected to be guiding the Turkish Competition Practices.
