THE COMMON METHODOLOGICAL ERRORS IN STYLISTIC ANALYSIS

The methodological approach is one of the most important approaches in literary analysis. Despite the spread of this approach among the researchers, however, we find that some stylistic applications in many of the critical research are not without systematic errors which come from the misconception of some of the basic tools that the methodological method based on them. Therefore, we study in this research an important issue. It is revealing these systematic errors in the exhibition of the methodological analysis of literary texts. In this study, we will not discuss the details of the first evolution of stylistic approach, it is in the books. But, we look at a phenomenon that the researchers left behind and we redress it in this article. It is the defect that resulting from the misinterpretation of stylistic analysis tools. Some of these errors are: misuse of the statistical tool, ignore the data of the linguistic replacement, confuse between stylistic approach and traditional concept of style and the failure to understand the structural deviation. The most important thing we mean by this study is to help researchers to understand stylistics that correspond to the correct rules of the method of literary criticism
