İŞ ÇEVRESİNİN YARATICILIK ÜZERİNDEKİ ETKİLERİ VE BİR ARAŞTIRMA

Geleneksel yaratıcılık teorileri yaratıcı bireyin kişisel özellikleri ile ilgilenirken, çağdaş yaratıcılık teorileri sosyal çevrenin yaratıcılık üzerindeki etkileri ile ilgilenmektedirler. Geleneksel yaklaşıma göre, yaratıcılık yaratıcı bireyin ürünüdür. Geleneksel yaklaşımın tersine, çağdaş yaratıcılık teorisi tüm bireylerin sosyal çevre uygun olduğu sürece bazı alanlarda yaratıcı çalışmalar üretebilecek normal kapasitelere sahip olduğunu iddia eder. Çünkü iş çevresi yaratıcı davranışın sıklığını ve seviyesini etkileyecektir. Bu araştırmada iş çevresinin teşvik edici ve engelleyici karakteristiklerinin işteki yaratıcılığı nasıl etkileyeceği incelenmeye çalışılmıştır. Bu araştırmadaki veriler Türkiye'nin en büyük 500 firmasında yer alan 126 firma yöneticisinden elde edilmiştir.

While the conventional theories of creativity deal with personal traits of creative individuals, contemporary theories of creativity deal with the impact of social environment on creativity. According to conventional wisdom, creativity is something done by creative people. in contrast to the traditional approach, the componential theory of creativity assumes that ali humans with normal capacities are able to produce creative work in some domain as long as social environment is appropriate. The social work environment can influence both the level and the frequency of creative behavior. in this research, we try to examine how the characteristics of the work environment stimulants and obstacles affect creativity at work. The data for this research were gathered from the managers of 126 firms selected from managers among the largest 500 firms of Turkey.
