Bartın İlinin Ekoturizm Potansiyelinin Belirlenmesi

Bu çalışmada, yerel halkın refah düzeyine olumlu katkı sağlayan ekoturizm faaliyetlerinin, Bartın ili için bir imkan olup olmadığı araştırılmıştır. Bartın ilinin doğal ve kültürel mirasının belirlenmesi çalışmaları, ekoturizm kavram ve kapsamı içinde kalmak şartı ile, arazi çalışmaları, Coğrafi Bilgi Sistemleri, Uzaktan Algılama ve Global Konum Belirleyici teknolojileri kullanılarak coğrafi perspektifte gerçekleştirilmiştir. Bu araştırmalar sonucunda, Bartın ilinin ekoturizm uygulamaları için zengin bir potansiyele sahip olduğu görülmüş ve Bartın için uygulanma imkanı olan ekoturizm faaliyet türleri belirtilmiştir. Ayrıca bu türlere ait hedeflerin belirlenerek multidisipliner bir çalışma ile ekoturizm prensipleri esas alınarak doğru projelerin üretilmesi ve uygulamaya geçilmesi önerilmiştir.

Determination of Ecotourism Potential in Bartın City

In this study, Ecoturism activities which have positive contribution to prosperity of local people has been investigated to find out whether or not an opportunity for Bartın city. The investigation of natural and cultural heritages of Bartın city realized is not in only geographic perspective but also ecoturism concept and scope using field works, Geographical Information System(G.I.S.), Remote Sensing (R.S.) and Global Positioning System(G.P.S.) technologies. In the result of these studies, it is found out that Bartın city have abundance potential for ecoturism activities and some types of ecoturism activities which are able to be applied to Bartın city designated. Also it has suggested that authories decide on goal or goals about ecoturism activities according to a multidicipliner study, creating suitable ecoturism projects which can be put into practice in Bartın city.
