SPIRITUAL COUNSELLING AND CARE IN THE NABAWI SUNNAH: ABDULLAH B. AMR’S INTERVIEW ABOUT WORSHIP LIFE

Sunnah can be regardedas the starting point ofmotivation when it comesto spiritual counsellingand care among otherdomains of life. This isbecause guiding people,especially about worship,of different agegroups, genders, jobs,and individuals is animportant and sensitiveprocess. In this study,narrations about thedetailed interview theProphet (saw) had withhis young companionAbdullah b. Amr whowas insistent about anuninterrupted and intenseworship schedule will bescrutinized. In this regard,information regarding therelevant hadith present inrelevant hadith sourcesbased on the narrationsof the narrators such asAbu al-Abbas al-Makki,Mujahid, Amr b. Aws,Abu Salamah b. Abdurrahmanwill be identified.The sanad and content ofthe hadith narrated by IbnAmr will be examined;the effect of spiritualcounselling on life balancedbetween the worldand the hereafter, andthe healthy developmentof body and soul will behighlighted.
