HATAY ORTA PALEOLİTİK DÖNEM TOPLUMLARINDA MOBİLİTE VE YERLEŞİM SİSTEMLERİ

Etnolojik araştırmaların artmasıyla birlikte yaşayan avcı-toplayıcıların yaşam biçimleri, günlük aktiviteleri ile ilgili birçok model oluşturulmuştur. Bu modeller 1980'li yılların başlangıcından itibaren prehistorik topluluklar üzerinde uygulanmıştır. Geçmişe ait modellerin oluşturulmasında, bu dönemlerde yaşamış insanların materyal kültürlerine ait kalıntılar incelenmiştir. Oluşturulan modeller yardımıyla Paleolitik dönem insanların mobiliteleri ve yerleşim sistemleri gibi birçok bilgiye ulaşılmıştır. Bu çalışma kapsamında Hatay'da bilinen ve Orta Paleolitik dönenme tarihlendirilen Üçağızlı II, Merdivenli ve Tıkalı Mağaralarında yaşamış insanların mobiliteleri ve yerleşim sistemleri araştırılmıştır. Bu çalışma sonucunda Hatay'da yaşamış Orta Paleolitik dönem insanlarının uzun ve kısa süreli yerleşimleri tercih ettikleri, lojistik ve meskensel mobilite uyguladıkları ortaya çıkarılmıştır.

Mobility and Settlement Pattern of Middle Paleolithic Assemblage in Hatay

With the increasing ethnological research, many models are created about hunter-gatherers in lifestyles and daily activities. From the beginning of the 1980s, these models were applied on prehistoric communities. In order to create of those models from past, material culture remains of people who lived in this period were examined.With the help of those models, the information about motilities' of past people lived in Paleolithic period and the evidence such as settlement pattern was reached. In this study, mobility and settlement patterns of Middle Paleolithic Caves, Üçağızlı II, Merdivenli and Tıkalı at Hatay were investigated. As a result of this study past people lived in the Middle Paleolithic period in Hatay, preferred longand short-term settlements, the implementation of logistics and residential mobility were generated.
