Kedilerde Key-Gaskell Sendromu

İlk kez Key ve Gaskell’in bu hastalığa dikkat çekmeleri nedeniyle Key-Gaskell sendromu olarak adlandırılmaktadır. Feline Dysotonomi olarak da bilinmektedir. Otonom Sinir Sisteminin dejenerasyonu sonucu oluşmaktadır. Otonom Sinir Sisteminin etkilediği iç organlarda sempatik ve parasempatik sinir sisteminin disfonksiyonuna ilişkin lezyonlarla karakterizedir. Dünyanın birçok ülkesinde sporadik olarak görülmesine rağmen, bulgularının sinir sisteminin birçok hastalığının bulgularıyla karışması nedeniyle, tanısı gözden kaçabilmektedir. Çok semptom gösteren kedilerde bu sendromun da olabileceği bu derlemeyle anlatılmaya çalışılmıştır.

Feline Key-Gaskell Syndroma

Key-Gaskell syndrome is called Key-Gaskell syndrome for the first time because Key and Gaskell drew attention to this disease. Also known as Feline Dysautonomia that it is result of degeneration of the autonomic nervous system. It is characterized by lesions related to the dysfunction of the sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous system in the internal organs affected by the autonomic nervous system. Although it is not seen as sporadic in many countries of the world, the diagnosis can escape from the eye because of the fact that its findings are mixed with the findings of many diseases of the nervous system. In this review we aimed to explain that this disease can manifest itself in many symptoms in the cats.
