İmmünkompetan bir erişkinde akut herpes simplex virüs hepatiti

Herpes simpleks virüs hepatiti immünkompetan bireylerde nadirdir. Mukokutanöz tutulum yokluğu sık olarak görüldüğünden dolayı tanının ortaya konması zordur. Burada Herpes simpleks virüs hepatitli 38 yaşında bir kadın hastayı bildirmekteyiz. Hasta gebe veya immün yetmezlikli değildi. Sadece destek tedavisi ile kısa sürede iyileşti. Herpes simpleks virüs hepatiti, immünkompetan kişilerde de akut hepatitin ayırıcı tanısına dahil edilmelidir.

Acute herpes simplex viral hepatitis in an immunocompetent adult

Herpes simplex viral hepatitis is uncommon in immunocompetent subjects. It is a difficult diagnosis to establish because of the high absence rate of mucocutaneous involvement. We report here a 38-year-old woman who was diagnosed to have herpes simplex virus hepatitis. The patient was neither pregnant nor immunocompromised. She got well in a short period only by a supportive treatment. Herpes simplex virus should be included in differential diagnosis of acute hepatitis even in immunocompetent subjects.
