Çocuklarda karpal kemik kırıkları

Çocuklarda açık el üzerine düşme sonrası üst ekstremitede sıklıkla yaralanmalar meydana gelmektedir. Ancak bu yaralanmalar içerisinde elde el bileği kemiklerinin kırıkları nadir görülmektedir. Sık görülmeyen yaralanma şekli olduğundan sıklıkla ihmal edilerek tanıda gecikmeler görülmektedir. Bu çalışmanın amacı nadir görülen bu kırıkların önemini vurgulayarak gecikmeleri önlemek, tanı ve tedavideki güncel yaklaşıma dikkat çekmektir.

Carpal fractures in children

In children, following falling onto the outstretched hands, injuries frequently occur in upper extremities. However, among these injuries, carpal bone fractures in hands are rarely seen. Since, this form of injuries is not so common, frequently they are neglected and diagnosis is delayed. The aim of this study was to stress the significance of these rarely seen fractures, prevent the possible delays and attract attention to actual approaches in the diagnosis and treatment.
