KIRAAT iLMiNDE İCAZETNAME GELENEGi VE BiR iCAZETNAME ÖRNEGi

Medrese eğitiminde hocanın taleb~sine medrese müfredatının yahut belli bir kitap veya dersin okululduğunu göstermek üzere vermiş olduğu yazılı belgeye icazetname denir. icazetname öğrenci tarafından istenir, hoca da bu isteğe uygun olarak icazetnameyi tanzim ederek verir. icazetname ancak icazet vermeye yetkili olan bir hoca tarafından verilebilir. Kıraat ilminde icazetname, Kur'an lafızlarının usulüne uygun bir üslupla okunduğuna dair okuyucuda bulunması gereken niteliklerin varlığını gösteren yazılı yeterlilik belgesi anlamındadır. Kıraat ilminde icazetnameler sözlü ve yazılı diye ikiye ayrılır. Sözlü icazetlerin tarihi Hz. Peygamber dönemine kadar uzar. Yazılı icazetler ise, sened ve isnadın kitaplarda kaydedilmeye başlandığı lll. (IX.) asra kadar gider. Kıraat ilminde verileli icazetler, bu ilmin hem sened hem de isnadının yazılı tarihi vesikalarıdır. Aynı zamanda icazetnameler Kur'an'ın hem lafız hem de telaffuz keyfiyetinin titizlikle körunarak günümüze kadar silsile yoluyla eğitiminin yapıldığını gösterir.

The written certificate, which has be~n given by a master to his pupil to show that the pupil was taught the curriculum of a madrasah, a special book or a course, is called icazatnamah (certificate of permission ). The pupil demands his/her master to give the icazatnamah, and the master prepares and gives it to him/her. icazatnamah can be given only by a master authorized to give permission. In the knowledge of qiraah (reciting the words of the Qur'an according to the specific rules), icazetnamah means a writıen perleetion certificate showing that the reciter has all qualities in order to recite .the letıers and words of the Qur'an in accordance witlı a manner appropriate to the required rules. In the knowledge of qıraah, icazatnamahs are divided into two kinds as verbal or written. The date ot the verbal kind goes back to the period of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). As for the written kind, it dates back to the lll. ( IX ) century when the sanad and isnad (the dıain of authorities on which a Iradilion is based ) were begun to be registered in books. So they are the writtenn·certificate ot the knowledge of qıraalı. At the same time, icazatnamalıs show that the Qur'an has been taught by the clıain of promotions through seniority so far, and in this way its quality of botlı word and pronunciation has been protected.
