In this research poverty line was calculated by using Engel and Rothbarth equivalent scales as an econometric equivalence scales The estimates of adult equivalence scales were obtained by estimating the Engel curve for the least cost food poverty line and by estimating Rothbarth method for poverty line of basic needs costs expressed Working Leser equation A results obtained from this analyses indicates that there is a considerably differences on poverty levels after poverty lines adjusted with the estimated adult equivalence scales Keywords: poverty adult equivalent scale Engel equivalent scale Rothbarth equivalent scale ÖZET Bu araştırmada yoksulluk sınırı ekonometrik eşdeğerlik ölçekleri olan 8220;Engel ve Rothbarth eşdeğerlik ölçekleri 8221; yaklaşımlarından yararlanılarak hesaplanmıştır Eşdeğerlik ölçekleri en düşük maliyetli gıda yoksulluk sınırı için Engel eğrisine temel gereksinimler maliyeti yoksulluk sınırı için Rothbarth yöntemine Working Leser modelinin uygulanmasıyla elde edilmiştir Tahmin edilen eşdeğerlik ölçekleri ile yoksulluk sınırları düzeltildiğinde yoksulluk düzeyinin önemli ölçüde değiştiği saptanmıştır Anahtar Kelimeler: Yoksulluk Yetişkin Eşdeğer Ölçeği Engel Eşdeğerlik Ölçeği Rothbarth Eşdeğerlik Ölçeği
