İstatistiksel yöntemler, uzun yıllardan beri kalite kontrol ve kalite güvencesinde önemli bir rol oynamaktadır. Bu çalışmada, bölgemizde faaliyet gösteren işletmelerde istatistiksel yöntemlerin uygulamalarının araştırılması ve uygulamada karşılaştıkları sorunları tespit etmek ve çözüm önerileri geliştirmek amacıyla uygulamalı bir araştırma yapılmıştır. Bu çerçevede öncelikle kalite, istatistik, istatistiksel teknikler kavramları ele alınmıştır. İstatistiksel yöntemler ve işletmelerde uygulamaları belirlendikten sonra, uygulamada karşılaşılan sorunlara ilişkin çözüm önerileri ortaya konulmuştur.

Statistical methods have been playing an important role for along lime in quality control and assurance. In this study an applied search has been performed in order to investigate the applications of statistical methods and to identify the problems such methods encounter in industrial sector that operate in our region, primarily the concept of quality, statistics and statistical techniques were covered and (hen information on applications at the local companies were given. After statistical methods and their applications at industrial sector were explained on theoretical basis, the questionnaire methods were employed in order to detect the applications of Statistical methods in our local companies. As the results of the questionnaire were evaluated, various problems and the suggestions for solving the were established.
