Suriye Krizi ve Ürdün'e yansımaları

Bu çalışmanın amacı Mart 2011den bugüne süregelen Suriye krizinin kısa bir tasvirini yaptıktansonra, diğer sınır komşularına göre pek de nazara alınmayan Ürdüne olan yansımalarını elealmak, sonrasında ise ABDnin Ürdün üzerinden sergilediği tutumla ko nuya dahil oluşunuincelemektir. Dünya gündeminin zirvesindeki Suriye meselesi üçüncü yılına girerken, yaşananhadiseler tüm sınır komşularında olduğu gibi Ürdün monarşisi açısından da siyasi, güvenlik,ekonomik, demografik ve sosyal sorunları beraberinde getirmiştir. Ürdünün kuzey bölgeleri nde,Suriye sınırında ve ötesinde yaşananlar, ABDnin de çeşitli hamlelerle dahil olduğu girift bir ilişkiağını ortaya çıkarmıştır. Ortadoğudaki en sağlam monarşilerden biri olarak görülen Ürdün, Suriyekrizi nedeniyle bu sıfatını kaybetme tehlikesiyle karşı karşıya gelmiştir.

Syrian Crisis and Repe rcussions to Jordan

The aim of this study is to examine the repercussions of Syrian c risis to Jordan, which has usuallydisregarded respect to other neighbors of Syria, after describing the continual crisis beginning inMarch 2011. Then, the U.S. involvement in the issue will be taken under the close watch therebyindicating its position with Jordan. As the Syrian crisis reaches its third year, all incidents havebrought about political, security, economic, demographic and social problems to the Kingdom ofJordan as well as the other neighbors of Syria. Events in Jordan s northern regions, Syrian borderand its beyond have engendered a new network of relations that also included the U.S. and itsvarious moves. To be seen as one of the strongest monarchies in the Middle East, Jordanconfronted to danger of losing this role due to the Syrian crisis.
