Bu çal ı ş ma Sovyetler Birli ği dağı ld ı ktan sonras ı Gürcistan Türkiye ili ş kilerini analiz etmektedir.Gürcistan özgürlüğünü kazandı ktan sonra ilk olarak Türkiye ile ili ş ki kurmayı baş ard ı .Sonzamanlarda Gürcistan ı n Güney komş usu ile çok yakı n ili ş ki içerisindedir. Konumundaki Stratejikdurumundan dolayı , Gürcistan Türkiyenin dı ş politikas ı nda önemli bir yere sahiptir. GürcistanTürkiyeyi Azerbaycan ve Orta Asya Cumhuriyetlerine bağlayan vazgeçilmez bir köprüdür. Bununla birlikte Gürcistan Hazar enerji kaynakları aktarı mı için anahtar bir güzergah olmuştur. Türkiye Gürcistan için Avrupaya aç ı lan bir pencere ve geni ş bir pazar ortağı dı r.Bu makalenin ana amac ı Türkiye Gürcistan aras ı ili ş kileri ve i şbirli ğini bir çok alanlarda de ğ i şikyönden ele almaktadı r. Türkiye ve Gürcistan aras ı nda enerji, taşı mac ı l ı k, ekonomi, ticari,savunma, güvenlik vb. alanlarda son derece ileri düzeyde i şbirli ği bulunmaktadı r.

This article analyzes Georgian - Turkish relations since the collapse of the Soviet Union. Georgiamanaged to establish relations with Turkey only after gaining independence. Nowadays Georgiahas very close relations with its Southern neighbor.Due to its strategic location, Georgiaoccupies a significant place in Turkish foreign policy. Georgia is a necessary bridge connectingTurkey with Azerbaijan and Central Asian States. Furthermore, Georgia has become a key transitroute for Caspian energy resources.For Georgia Turkey is a window to Europe and the largesttrade partner.The main goal of this article is to analyze various aspects of TurkishGeorgian relations and co-operation in different fields. There is outstanding cooperation between Turkey and Georgia in thefields such as energy, transport, economy, trade, defense, security etc.
