Poverty, as a significant threat to humans all over the world, has been enhancing because of thefact that there has been a strong inequality of the income rates. In this economic system, the poorbecomes poorer and the rich becomes richer and the difference between these two groups hasbecome absolute. On the other hand, the international organizations are not effective enough tosolve the problem of poverty. In this context, the main aim of the study is to have a look at thegeneral overview of poverty by means of OECD countries and to come to a certain as well asconcrete resolutions on its prevention.
