Makedonya ve Komşuları: Ayrılıklar ve Güçlükler

This paper seeks to explain the origins and background of the Macedonian Question, from antiquity, through the nineteenth and twentieth centuries to the present, using an historical and (geo)political methodology. It traces the motives and strategies of negation of the Macedonian identity by Macedonia’s neighbours Greece, Serbia, Bulgaria and Albania. Special emphasis is placed on the role of the great powers in arrangement and re-arrangement of the Macedonian puzzle.
