British Policy in the Balkans: Differences Between the Foreign Policies of the Conservative Part and the Labour Party

This article aims to analyse the change in the British Foreign Policy during the Bosnian and Kosovo wars. For this purpose, it compares the foreign policies of the Conservative government and Labour government. In conclusion, it argues that, as one of the important actors in world politics, with the new understanding of the conduct of international affairs in the post-Cold War era, the Labour government has succeeded in repairing the damage done by the previous Conservative government to Britain’s international standing.
