Gebelikte Gestasyonel Diyabet Taraması

Gestasyonel diyabet, gebelikten öncesi diyabeti olmayan hastalarda gebelikte ortaya çıkan diyabet türüdür. Uygun zamanda tanı konup tedavi edilmediği takdirde birçok maternal, fetal ve neonatal komplikasyona yol açabilmektedir. Bunlar arasında makrozomi, polihidramnios, preterm doğum, in utero ölü fetüs, enfeksiyonlar, neonatal metabolik komplikasyonlar sayılabilir. Gestasyonel diyabet tanısının temelinde tek basamaklı veyaiki basamaklı tarama ve tanı testleri bulunur. Bu tarama ve tanı testleri gebe takibi yapan tüm hekimler tarafından iyi bilinmeli ve sonuçları iyi değerlendirilebilmelidir.

Gestational Diabetes Screening During Pregnancy

Gestational diabetes is a type of diabetes that is diagnosed during pregnancy in patients who do not have pregestational diabetes. Unless diagnosed and treated on time, it may cause various maternal, fetal and neonatal complications like macrosomia, polyhydramniosis, preterm labor, in utero ex fetus, infections, neonatal metabolic complications. The diagnosis of gestational diabetes stands on singlestep or two-step screening/diagnosis strategies. These screening and diagnosis tests should be well known by physicians who are taking care of pregnants.
