Bazı klinik çalışmalarda, yeni bir ölçüm tekniği ile referans olarak kullanılan ölçüm tekniğinin uyum düzeyi çeşitli istatistiksel yöntemler kullanılarak incelenir. Genellikle ölçüm teknikleri arasındaki uyum düzeyini belirlemek için korelasyon ve regresyon analizi kullanılır. Fakat korelasyon ve regresyon analizi uyumu ölçmede doğru yöntemler değildir. Çalışmamızda bu yöntemlere alternatif olan ve grafiksel teknik ve basit hesaplamaları temel alan Bland-Altman yöntemi tanıtılmıştır.

Statistical Methods for Assessing Agreement Betvveen Two Measurement Technique in Clinical Research in some clinical researches, degree ofagreement between a new measurement technique and an established öne is assessed by using a variety of Statistical analysis. in general, correlation and regression analysis are commonly used for this purpose. However use ofthese analysis leads to misleading. in this study, an alternative approach, "Bland-Altman method", based on graphical techniques and simple calculation is described on a diagnostic measurement technique.
