Erişkin hastada spontan intrahepatik portosistemik venöz şant: MRG bulguları

Spontan intrahepatik portosistemik venöz şant nadir rastlanan, konjenital ya da akkiz nedenli, hepatik ensefalopatiye yol açabilen bir patolojidir. Günümüzde bu patoloji, renkli Doppler ultrasonografi, bilgisayarlı tomografi ya da manyetik rezonans görüntüleme (MRG) ile kolaylıkla tanınıp, takip edilebilir. İnvaziv görüntüleme yöntemleri ise daha çok cerrahi ya da endovasküler tedavi düşünülen olgularda uygulanmalıdır. Bu makalede, hepatik ensefalopati ile başvuran, dinamik karaciğer MRG'de spontan intrahepatik portosistemik venöz şant saptanan 41 yaşındaki erkek hastanın MRG görüntüleri, klinik ve laboratuvar bulguları eşliğinde sunulmaktadır.

Spontaneous intrahepatic portosystemic venous shunt is a rare pathology that can be either congenital or acquired, and may cause hepatic encephalopathy. Today, this rare disorder can easily be determined and followed-up using color Doppler ultrasonography, computed tomography, or magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). Herein, we present the MRI findings and clinical data of a 41-year-old male patient presenting with hepatic encephalopathy, due to a spontaneous intrahepatic portosystemic venous shunt.
