Çocuklarda abdominal travma
Travma pediyatrik yaş grubunda en sık mortalite ve morbidite nedenidir. Baş ve ekstremitelerden sonra karın en sık yaralanan üçüncü bölgedir. Abdomianl travmalar %8.5 gibi yüksek bir mortalite oranına sahiptir. Çocuklar anotomik, fizyolojik ve psikolojik yönlerden erişkinlerden farklılıklar gösterirler. Bu nedenle çocuklarda travmaya yaklaşım bazı farklılıklar göstermektedir. Bu yazıda, çocuklarda travma sonrası oluşan abdomen yaralanmalarının tipik klinik bulguları, değerlendirilmesi ve tedavisi anlatılacaktır.

Trauma is the most common cause of mortality and morbidity in pediatric population. Following the head and extremities, abdomen is the third most commonly injured region in children.
