Organizations as Political Arena Metaphors and the Effect of Organizational Politics on the Perception of Organizational Justice

Basic aim of this study is to determine the effect of organizational politics on employees' perceptions of organizational justice. Results of the application, which was held on 456 employees showed that perceptions of organizational politics largely effects employees' perceptions of organizational justice and their intention to leave. In other words, an increase in the perception of prganizational politics decreases the perception of organizational justice and increases the intention to leave. In addition, it is found out that female employees have a higher perception of organizational politics than their male counterparts, and there is a positive corelation between such control variables as the tenure, wage and position of an employee and the perception of organizational poltics.
