Türkiye’de Aile Hekimliği Uygulamasına Geçişte Aile Sağlığı Elemanının Yeri

Özet: Aile hekimi, kendisine kayıtlı kişileri bir bütün olarak ele alıp, kişiye yönelik koruyucu, tedavi ve rehabilite edici sağlık hizmetlerini bir ekip anlayışı içinde sunar. Aile sağlığı elemanı; Aile hekimi ile birlikte hizmet veren, sözleşmeli olarak çalıştırılan veya Bakanlıkça görevlendirilen hemşire, ebe, sağlık memuru (toplum sağlığı) ve acil tıp teknisyenini ifade eder. Aile sağlığı elemanı aile hekimliği uygulamasında bu ekibin doğal üyesidir. Bu makalede aile hekimliğine geçiş döneminde aile hekimi ile birlikte çalışan aile sağlığı elemanının yeri ve eğitimi özetlenmiştir.

The Position Of Family Health Assistant In Transition Period Of Family Practice Implementation In Turkey

Family physician provides systematic, preventive, rehabilitative and therapeutic services to the community, comprehensively. Family health assistant is defined as the contractual or permanent personnel like nurse, midwife, emergency medical technician or health official, who works with the family physician. In order to give a quality service, they should have a team spirit and try to strengthen it. Family health assistant is the natural member of the family medicine team. The position and the education of the family health assistant who works with family physician are summarized in this article.
