Sosyal Ağ Özellikleri Bakış Açısıyla Sosyal Sermaye ve Bilgi Yaratma İlişkisi: Akademisyenler Üzerinde Yapılan Bir Alan Araştırması

Sosyal sermaye, örgütlerin rekabet etmeleri ve yeni üretim sistemlerine uyum sağlamaları için en temel ihtiyaç olan bilgi yaratma ve yenilik üzerinde olumlu bir etkiye sahiptir. Yapısal, ilişkisel ve bilişsel sosyal sermaye boyutları, içerdiği kaynaklar sayesinde bilgiye ulaşmak, ulaşılan bilgiyi paylaşmak ve mevcut bilgilerle birleştirerek yeni bilgiler yaratmak gibi temel bilgi yaratma faaliyetlerine güçlü bir zemin hazırlamaktadır. Bu çalışmanın amacı, sosyal sermaye ve bilgi yaratma arasındaki ilişkiyi, sosyal ağ kuramlarıyla analiz etmektir. Bu bağlamda, fen bilimleri ve sosyal bilimlerde yer alan akademisyenlerin sosyal ağ özellikleri ve güven boyutlarının makale sayısı üzerindeki etkisi ölçülmüştür. Sonuçlara göre sosyal sermaye ve bilgi yaratma arasındaki ilişki bilim dallarına göre değişmektedir.

The Relationship Between Social Capital and Knowledge Creation With the Perspective of Social Network Features: A Field Survey on Academics

Social Capital has a positive effect on knowledge creation and innovation, which are the most basic need of competing and adapting to the new production systems of organizations. Through the sources, embedded in social capital dimensions, structural, relational and cognitive dimensions provide a forcible background to the basic knowledge creation activities such as accessing to knowledge, sharing the accessed knowledge and combining it with the existing knowledge. The aim of this study is to analyze the relationship between social capital and knowledge creation through the social network theories. In this context, the effects of social network features and trust dimension on the article number of the academics in sciences and social sciences have been evaluated. According to the results, the relationship between social capital and knowledge creation is changing in respect of the features of different disciplines.
