Bu çalışmada Van'da yetiştirilen Precoce de Tyrinthe, Precoce de Colomer ve Sakıt-2 kayısı çeşitlerinin Modifiye Atmosferde (MA) muhafaza olanakları araştırılmıştır. Bu amaçla kayısı örneklerinin yerleştirildiği üç farklı ambalaj malzemesinin (plastik, polistren köpük ve karton kase) yansı tek ve diğer yarısı da çift kat streç filmle kaplanmış ve ambalajlanan meyveler 0°C sıcaklık ve % 85 ± 5 oransal nem koşullarında muhafazaya alınmıştır. Araştırma sonuçlarına göre, bu koşullarda Precoce de Tyrinthe çeşidinin 2-3, Precoce de Colomer kayısısının 4 ve Şakıt-2 çeşidinin ise 4-5 hafta depolanabileceği belirlenmiştir. Denemede, tek kat streç filmle kaplanmış kaselerde depolanan meyvelerde tat ve aroma, çift kat streç filmle kaplı kumlardaki örneklerde ise dış görünüş bakımından daha iyi sonuçlar alınmıştır.

m this study, MA storage abilities of Precoce de Tyrinthe, Precoce de Colomer and Sakit-2 apricot cultivars grown in Van were investigated. For this purpose, the half of three different packaging (plastic, polysytren foam and cardboard boxes) materials filled with apricot fruits was covered with one fold stretch film and the other part with two fold stretch film. The packaged fruits were stored at 0°C temperature and 85 ± 5 % relative humidity. According to research results, it was found that Precoce de Tyrinthe, Precoce de Colomer and Sakit-2 could be stored 2-3,4 and 4-5 weeks in this conditions, respectively. In trial, the best results in terms of taste and flavour were found in vessels covered with one fold stretch film. On the other hand, fruits with better physical characteristics were obtained from packaging materials covered with two fold stretch film.
