Sağlık çalışanları için kötü, üzücü ya da zor haberleri iletme tekniği

Sağlık hizmetlerinin her aşamasında çalışanlar görevlerini yerine getirirken, bir şekilde kötü, üzücü ya da acı veren bir durumu karşı tarafa iletmek zorunda kalmaktadır. Kötü bir haber vermek her zaman zor bir görevdir ve tam olarak doğru bir yolu olduğunu söylemek de olası değildir. Bununla beraber öğrenilmesi gereken en önemli iletişim becerilerinden biridir. Sağlık çalışanlarının birçoğu kötü haber vermeyi sıkıntı verici bulmakta ve bu görüşmeyi yapmakta zorlanmaktadır. Bu makalede, kötü haber verme görüşmelerini kolaylaştırmayı sağlayacak olan altı temel basamak özetlenmiş ve bazı iletişim teknikleri açıklanmıştır.

The strategy of breaking bad, sad or diffucult news for health professionals

In every stage of health care delivery, each health professionals has faced to break bad, sad, or difficult news to the others. Breaking bad news is always a difficult task and it is not possible to say that there is a right way to do it. However, it is a vital communication skill to learn during the school years. Many of health workers find it very distressful and having difficulties to do it. With this paper, It has been summarized the six steps of breaking bad news and some communication techniques have been explained.
