Klozapine bağlı nokturnal enürezis: İki olgu sunumu

Özellikle tedaviye dirençli şizofrenide kullanılan klozapin etkinliği yüksek bir antipsikotiktir, ancak klozapinin değişen şiddetteki bazı yan etkileri kullanımını sınırlamaktadır. Enürezis nokturna, klozapinin nadir görülen ancak rahatsız edici yan etkilerinden biridir ve etki mekanizması çok yönlüdür. Bu yazıda klozapin kullanımına bağlı enürezis nokturna gelişen iki olgu ve tedavileri tartışılmıştır. Diğer atipik antipsikotiklere göre yüksek oranda enürezise yol açan klozapine uyum sürecinde bu yan etkinin göz önünde bulundurulması ve iyi yönetilmesi tedaviye uyum sürecinde önem taşımaktadır. Ayrıca klozapinin yol açtığı nokturnal enüreziste doz ayarlanmasının ve aripipirazol kombine tedavisinin bir alternatif tedavi olabileceği hatırda tutulmalıdır. Clozapine induced nocturnal enuresis: report of two cases

Clozapine is used specifically with treatment resistant schizophrenia and is a highly effective antipsychotic. However some of its side effects which vary in severity limits its usage. Nocturnal enuresis is one of the rarely seen but disturbing side effects of clozapine, and its mechanism is multifaceted. In this paper two cases with enuresis nocturna due to clozapine and their treatments are discussed. It is important to consider and manage this side effect in adjusting the dosage process of clozapine which tends to cause enuresis in higher rates than other atypical antipsychotics. Furthermore it should to be kept in mind that adjusting the dosage of clozapine, and aripipirazol combination treatments may be an alternative treatment as well.
