Örgütlerde intikam niyeti ve affetme eğiliminin çalşanların ruh sağlıkları ile ilişkisi

Örgütlerde çalışanların affetme eğilimi, intikam niyeti ve ruh sağlıkları arasındaki ilişkiler ile affetme eğiliminin ve intikam niyetinin çalışanların ruh sağlıkları üzerindeki etkisinin belirlenmesi bu araştırmanın temel amacıdır. Kayseri ve Yalova 'da çeşitli kamu ve özel sektör kuruluşlarında 290 çalışan ile gerçekleştirilen araştırma sonuçlarına göre, insanların başkalarını ve bazı durumları affetmeleriyle ruh sağlıkları arasında anlamlı ve pozitif yönde bir ilişki olduğu görülmüştür. Ayrıca, bireylerin intikam niyetleriyle ruh sağlıkları arasında anlamlı ve negatif yönde bir ilişki olduğu görülmüştür. Regresyon analizi sonuçlarına göre ise affetme eğiliminin ruh sağlığı üzerinde anlamlı ve pozitif yönde ve intikam niyetinin ruh sağlığı üzerinde anlamlı ve negatif yönde bir etkiye sahip olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Demografik özellikler itibariyle de işçilerin ruh sağlıklarının yöneticilerinkine göre daha yüksek olduğu, yine işçilerin intikam niyetlerinin yöneticilerinkine kıyasla daha düşük olduğu, evlilerin affetme eğilimlerinin bekârla-rınkine göre daha yüksek olduğu, bekârların ruh sağlığının evlilerinkine göre daha yüksek olduğu belirlenmiştir.

The relationship between revenge intention and forgiveness tendency with mental health of employees in organizations

The main purpose of this research is to identify the relationship between forgiveness tendency, revenge intention and mental health, and the effects of forgiveness tendency and revenge intention on mental health of employees. This researchwas conducted in Kayseri and Yalova with 290 participants from various government and private organizations. The results pointed to a significant and positive relationship between forgiving other people and situations with mental health. Additionally, there was a significant negative relationship between revenge intention and mental health. The results of regression analysis indicated thatrevenge intention had a significant negative effect on mental health, while the relationship of forgiveness tendency positively and significantly affected mental health. Employee's mental health was found to be better than managers. The employee's revenge intention was lower than managers. Forgiveness tendency of married people was higher than singles, while the mental health of singles was better than married people.
