Ayrıca kıraat ilmini ele alan yazar ilmin doğuşu ile başlayıp alandaki önemli şahsiyetlere değinip bu ilmin çeşitli meselelerini incelemektedir. Bu bölümde özellikle tam olarak mahiyetinde bir ittifak bulunmayan yedi harf meselesine değinmektedir.
