Birinci Sınıf Öğrencilerinin Okula Uyumları ve Okuma-Yazma Becerilerinin Kazanımı
Bu araştırmada, okula uyum ve okuma yazma becerisinin kazanımı konusunda öğretmen görüşlerinin incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Bu doğrultuda, çalışmada nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden fenomolojik desende tasarlanmıştır. Araştırmaya 2017–2018 öğretim yılı bahar yarıyılında görev yapmakta olan on üç sınıf öğretmeni katılmıştır.
School Adjustment and Acquisition of Literacy Skills in the First Year of Elementary School
In this study, it is aimed to examine the opinions of teachers about the adaptation to school and the acquisition of literacy skills. In this respect, the study was designed in the phenomological design of qualitative research methods. Thirteen primary school teachers working in the spring semester of 2017- 2018 academic year participated in the study. Data were analyzed by phenomological data analysis. It is understood that the data are grouped under three categories as “expectations from compatible students”, “school adjustment and readiness” and “adaptation to school and academic achievement”. In this respect, it is seen that teachers care about the relation between school readiness and adaptation while defining the compatible student as the class rules. In addition, this study concluded that teachers thought that adaptive students had learned to read and write faster. Based on the results of this study, it is recommended to make the studies within the scope of school adaptation more effective.
