Faaliyet ve mekanizmaları itibarı ile yazımızda sosyal bir olgu olarak ele aldığımız tasavvuf ve tasavvufî hareketler, tasavvufî İslamlaşmanın hüküm sürdüğü Orta Asya tarihi örneğinden hareketle incelenmiştir. Bu çalışmada konu tasavvufun sosyal yapılara etkisinin nasıllığı üzerinden ele alınarak tasavvufun toplumsal kriz dönemlerinde sosyal dengeyi sağlamadaki eksik yönleri ve bu eksikliği tamamlayan diğer sosyal müessese ve olgular incelenmiş ve bu minvalde bir tasavvuf sosyolojisinin imkanı değerlendirmeye tabi tutulmuştur

Sufizm and Sufi movements that we consider as of their activities and mechanisms as a social phenomenon in our writing have been examined with the example of Central Asian history that Sufi Islamization has prevailed. In this study, shortcomings of Sufism on poising in social crisis periods and other social institutions and phenomena complementing this shortcoming have been analyzed thereby the subject has been examined over how Sufi influence on the social structure, and in this way the possibility of a Sufi sociology was evaluated
