Semptomatik kolon lipomlarına yaklaşım: olgu sunumu ve literatürün gözden geçirilmesi

Kolon lipomları nadir görülen benign tümörlerdir. Genellikle asemptomatik olmaları sebebiyle kolonoskopi, cerrahi veya otopsi sırasında insidental olarak bulunurlar. Semptomatik olanlar ise daha çok karın ağrısı ya da mekanik bağırsak tıkanıklığı bulguları ile başvururlar. Bu hastalarda preoperatif görüntüleme yöntemleri ile malign tümörlerle ayırıcı tanısı yapılması, tedavi seçeneğini belirlemede önemlidir. Bu makalede, mekanik barsak tıkanıklığına sebep olan kolon lipomu olguları, tanı ve tedavi yöntemleri değerlendirilerek literatür eşliğinde sunulmuştur.

An approach to symptomatic lipomas of the colon: A review of the literature and case report

Colonic lipomas are rare, benign neoplasms. They are usually found incidentally during colonoscopy, surgery or autopsy because they are asymptomatic. Symptomatic patients usually present with abdominal pain or mechanical bowel obstruction. Preoperative imaging plays an important role in determining treatment options for malignant tumors. In this article, we report two colon lipoma cases with mechanical bowel obstruction and a review of the literature to evaluate the clinical fea- tures, diagnosis, and treatment of this disease.
