Post-Truth Çağda Dijital Dezenformasyon: Covid-19 Aşı Karşıtlığı Üzerine Bir İnceleme

Covid-19 virüsü dolayısıyla dünyada ve ülkemizde insan hayatında birçok değişimler yaşanmıştır. Nitekim bu değişimlerin sona ererek eski yaşam düzenine kavuşmak insanların en büyük isteklerinden biri haline gelmiştir. Pandemi sürecinin kontrol altına alınması ve can kayıplarının yaşanması amacıyla ele alınan aşı çalışmaları günümüzde neredeyse her habere konu olmaktadır. Ancak bu haberlerin birçoğu çarptırılmış, yalan ya da kısmen yalan haberlerden oluşmaktadır. Bu çalışmada post-truth çağda dijital dezenformasyon: covid-19 aşı karşıtlığı üzerine bir inceleme yapılması amaçlanmıştır. Bu bağlamda çalışmada öncelikle post-truth kavramı açıklanmış, dijital dezenformasyon kavramı irdelenmiştir. Bununla birlikte çalışmada yalan haberler ile bilgiler aktarılarak içerisinde bulunulan pandemi sürecinin kontrol altına alınması amacıyla yapılan aşı çalışmaları ve uygulamalarına yönelik sosyal medya ve medya araçlarında yapılan haberler incelenmiştir. Özellikle aşı karşıtları tarafından yapılan birçok sahte ve karalama üzerine oluşturulan aşı haberleri bu çalışmanın inceleme konusunu oluşturmuştur. Çalışma kapsamında tematik analiz yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Bu bağlamda çok sayıda paylaşımı yapılan ve araştırma kapsamında doğruluğu belirlenen paylaşımların Covid-19 aşılarının kullanımı ve çalışmalarının son günlerde artmasıyla beraber daha da yaygın hale geldiği görülmektedir. Dijital okuryazarlık eğitimlerinin verilebileceği ve bu sayede ise sahte haberlere dikkat çekilebileceği; bunun yanı sıra doğrulama ve teyit etme davranışlarının medya kuruluşları sayesinde kazandırılması, haberlerin doğruluklarının kontrol edilmesini sağlamakla birlikte yanlış bilgilerin yayılma imkânını da önleyebileceği sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.

Here Digital Disinformation in the Post-Truth Age: A Study on Covid-19 Anti-Vaccination

Due to the covid-19 virus, there have been many changes in human life in the world and in our country. As a matter of fact, it has become one of the greatest wishes of people to end these changes and regain their old life order. Vaccine studies, which are handled in order to control the pandemic process and to experience loss of life, are the subject of almost every news today. However, most of these news are distorted, fake or partially fake news. In this study, it is aimed to make a review on digital disinformation in the post-truth era: covid-19 vaccine opposition. In this context, first of all, the concept of post-truth is explained and the concept of digital disinformation is examined. In addition, in the study, news made in social media and media tools for vaccination studies and applications made in order to control the pandemic process in which we are involved by transferring false news and information were examined. Vaccine news, created on many fakes and smears made by vaccine opponents, has been the subject of this study. Thematic analysis method was used within the scope of the study. In this context, it has become more common with the increase in the use and studies of Covid-19 vaccines in the recent days, of the shares that have been shared a lot and whose accuracy has been determined within the scope of the research. It is possible to provide digital literacy trainings and thus draw attention to fake news; In addition, it has been concluded that the acquisition of verification and confirmation behaviors through media organizations can prevent the spread of false information, while ensuring the accuracy of the news is checked.
