2008 Küresel krizinin yayılma süreci ve etkileri: Seçilmiş ülkeler için ekonometrik bir analiz

Küresel ekonomik kriz, Amerika Birleşik Devletleri ipotekli konut piyasasında, 2007 yılı ortalarında başlamıştır. Türev ürünler aracılığıyla tüm finansal sektörü etkisi altına almış, kısa sürede dünya geneline yayılarak, bütün ülkeleri derinden etkilemiştir. Bu çalışmada, son ekonomik krizin nedenleri, yayılma süreci ve seçilmiş ülke ekonomileri üzerine olan etkileri, 1980-2010 dönemi verileri kullanılarak, Engle-Granger (1987) eş-bütünleşme yöntemiyle analiz edilmiştir. Analiz sonuçlarına göre; ülkelerin ekonomik büyümelerini en çok, özel tüketim harcamaları etkilemektedir. Krizin etkisi negatif ve istatistikî olarak anlamlıdır.

Spillover process and effects of 2008 global crisis: An econometric analysis for selected countries

Global economic crisis started in USA mortgage market in mid- 2007. Through derivative products market the crisis has deeply affected the entire financial sector, spread throughout the world in a short time, and affected every country deeply. In this study, the causes, spillover process and the effects of the last economic crisis on the selected countries have been analyzed by using 1980- 2010 data via Engle-Granger co-integration method. According to the results of analysis; the growth of countries is mostly affected by private consumption expenditure. Effect of the crisis is negative and statistically significant.
