Prosthetic complications of dental implants

The high rate of clinical success in the treatment of tooth loss and due to the numerous advantages, the use of dental implants is increasing. As a result of widespread usage and performed clinical studies, wide range of complications which can be classified as biological, mechanical and aesthetical, are also observed. In implant treatment, knowledge of the potential causes and problems, will assist in the treatment planning for taking necessary precautions. The purpose of this literature review is to provide information about the encountered prosthetic complications during dental implant treatments
