İki Farklı İl Merkezinde Yaşayan Okul Öncesi Çocuklarda Çürük Prevalansının Belirlenmesi: Bir Ekonomik Analiz ve Bir Projeksiyon

Bu çalışma; 2010 yılında Kütahya ve Karaman il merkezlerindeki okul öncesi çocuklardaki diş çürüğü prevalansı ve sonuçlarının değerlendirilmesi amacıyla planlanmıştır.Kütahya ve Karaman il merkezlerinde gerek aile hekimliği merkezlerinde ve gerekse anaokullarında veli onamı doğrultusunda muayeneler gerçekleştirildi. Kütahya ilinde yapılan muayeneler deneyimli 3 diş hekimi ve Karaman ilinde yapılan muayeneler ise konuyla ilgili 1 yıllık deneyimli 10 adet diş hekimliği öğrencisi tarafından gerçekleştirildi. Muayene edilenlerin %52’si erkek, %48’i kız olarak belirlendi.

Identification of Caries Prevalence of Preschool Children Who Live In Two Different City Centre: An Economic Analysis and A Projection

This study was planned to assess dental caries prevalence and its results in preschool children in Karaman and Kütahya city centres, in 2010. Examinations were performed in two family medicine centres and preschools in Kütahya and Karaman city centres. Examination in Kütahya were performed by 3 experienced dentist and the ones in Karaman were performed by 10 dental faculty students who practised along 1 year with dental examination. 499 %52 male, %48 female children were examined in total. The mean age was 34,8 ±11,23 months. Caries prevalence was %60,72 and mean df t value was 2,79±3.39. Among the examined children, maximum increase of df t was determined between 3-5 years old.In this study, ages ranging from 5-60 months and a total of 499 children living in two different cities of the epidemiological data were evaluated and some alternatives of early preventive practices and economic projections were discussed
