Principles of Approach To Children With Delayed Speech Child

Communication between people can occur in many ways. Verbal and body language can both be used for communication. Verbal language is a system that is ordered by various rules. The acquisition of language affords the opportunity to transfer an individuals’ thoughts and feelings to others. Each individuals’ motor and intellectual capacity is unique to them. Developmental differences effect the time to start conversation, speed of use and other parameters. While language is a communication device, speech is a method of transferring language. Speech is the most important element of verbal communications. In order to communicate, people must be able to understand each others’ speech. The aim of this study is to analyze the stages of speech and language development that enable communication between people, and to provide information about the diagnosis and treatment algorithm of a child with delayed speech
