Bu araGtırmanın amacı, ilköğretim müdürlerinin yeni programa yönelik yeterliklerine iliGkin görüGlerini belirlemektir. AraGtırmanın evrenini, Bolu merkezde yer alan 17 ilköğretim okulu müdürü oluGturmaktadır. Okul müdürlerine yeni programa iliGkin 5 açık uçlu soru yöneltilmiGtir. AraGtırmada içerik analizi yönteminden yararlanılmıGtır. AraGtırma sonuçlarına göre müdürler, yeni programa duyulan gereksinim, programda yer alan ortak becerilerin neler olduğu, içeriğin belirlenmesinde nelerin üzerinde durulduğu, öğrenme ortamının nasıl tasarlanması gerektiği ve değerlendirmenin temel özellikleri konularında yeterli bilgiye sahip görünmemektedir. Müdürlerin, sadece yeni programın ?öğrenci aktifliğini? sağlaması ile ?alternatif ölçme ve değerlendirme yöntemlerini teGvik etmesi? konularında yeterli bilgiye sahip oldukları belirlenmiGtir.

The purpose of this study is to determine primary schools‘ principals‘ views about their competency related to the new curricula. The participants are among 17 primary school principals in Bolu. Five open-ended questions were asked to school principals. Content analysis method is used. Quantitative analyses are also run for the data gathered from the principals. According to the research, the principals do not have competences in the following areas: the need for new curricula, what the common skills are in the curricula, how the content of the curricula is determined, how the learning environment should be designed and what the fundamental features of assessment should be. The principals have only enough information on providing active participation of students and encouraging alternative assessment techniques
