Bu çalıGmada Yusuf Gzzet PaGanın Milli Mücadeleye katılma süreci ve milletvekilliği sırasındaki faaliyetleri incelenmiGtir.

Yusuf Izzet Pahsa, one of the military members of the First Turkish Grand National Assembly, has been an eye-catching figure due to his controversial acts in Balikesir as the commander of the 14. Army Corps of Bursa; his episodic entry to the national struggle; and his spectacular speeches about national problems he uttered in the National Assembly. In this study, the process Yusuf Izzet Pahsa joined the national struggle and his activities as a deputy of the Grand National Assembly have been explored.
